A lot of people are theorizing how the team will hear about Korra’s disappearance, and a common one seems to be a newspaper? I actually didn’t think of that at all but I think it’s interesting and horribly sad so I drew it. I personally thought Tenzin would break the news but I guess we’ll see!
AND personal headcanon is that the whole team finds Korra but Mako gives her his scarf and carries her out. Because my shipping heart needs that.

I personally think that this episode will be more Korra-Aang centralized, but that we will get a few snippets of Team Avatar dealing with Korra’s disappearance. I don’t know why- blame my biased shipper heart- but I think that this episode will cause a great change of relationships. Asami knows, Korra made it pretty clear that she likes Mako a lot, and Mako’s still really confused. Something’s gonna shift here while Korra’s gone. I don’t know what, but I somehow feel Mako will come to some sort of realization while she’s away. Either in favor of Masami or Makorra.
Regardless, beautiful art! I feel all angsty again now though XD
